Noobs Should Buy Backlinks

I’m a noob when it comes to online jargon.

When I first started out my online business from scratch, I came across the term backlinks. And the fact that more backlinks to your site meant scoring higher Google pageranks

Everybody says you should get backlinks to your site to boost your pagerank.

But the question that raced through my mind then was … what in the world is a backlink anyway?

I initially thought backlinks were those little buttons on website that have the back button. And when you clicked them it brought you to the previous page on the website.

So it got me wondering … should I be packing my website full of Back buttons? Wouldn’t that seem kinda weird?

So I got around to researching on backlinks. Turned out backlinks were links from other peoples sites that pointed to yours. And it was an unspoken rule that backlinks from higher Google pagerank sites would give you more credibility than those lower ones.

That’s pure common sense isn’t it? So I got down to getting backlinks for my site. And boy was it a tedious process. I skipped my meals and spent days on end getting backlinks to my site.

When I started skipping my baths and started smelling funny, my wife kinda gave me an ultimatum.

“Find an easier way to get those backlinks or you’ll be sleeping on the couch for the rest of the year”

So that got me to thinking even further…. instead of doing the backlinking myself? Why not hire someone else to do it for me?
